UFO live in Riffelhof Burgrieden 03/09/2015
Support - Yasi Hofer
One should not believe it's Monday, a rock band occurs and .... the booth is full !!
UFO appeared yesterday in Riffelhof live on and obviously the fans were magnetically attracted.
Rightly, in my view, for the British hard rock band consisting at least since the early 70s, "rocked" the shop of the finest. The 66-year-old lead singer Phil Mogg really gave everything. The remaining band members Paul Raymond (guitar / keyboards), Andy Parker (drums), Rob de Luca (bass) and Vinnie Moore (Lead Guitar) showed all their skills. With songs such as Lights Out, Rock Bottom, Shoot Shoot and from the new CD Run Boy Run and The Killing Kind band had such powerful audience of fun. Of course then was allowed to complete the famous Doctor Doctor not missing - all in all a great evening the previously Yasi Hofer and her band as support opened ... nice to hear again and again how they mastered the guitar whether with All Along The Watchtower by Jimi Hendrix or Sweet Autum and MTEC from her debut album Yasi.
Tour for you

LIVE REVIEW: UFO - 6 March 2015 - Cracow, Poland

I was really curious to see the band 6 years after last time. Thank to good heavens they are keeping business in the same vein as Europe and Uriah Heep - every three years new record and a tour that is not exactly just cutting off the coupons and earning money for another scheme-in gig, with the same all setlist for years

UFO - THE MUSIC

Squeezed into a 90 minutes set, UFO's concert really promises to be a thrilling "no holds barred" ride. And as always it also seems to be a challenge on how to structure the live set not to be replaying "Strangers In The Night" classic live album on and again. Audience favourites are all too many (some people in Cracow felt let down, not being offered "Love To Love" in the set), yet again UFO work consequently to be promoting their recent releases as a main goal added to serving the fans with the string of the beloved classic tracks. Since the tour started, the band had dropped the number of the newest CD tracks from 4 to 2, leaving in at the same time 3 best cuts from the previous offering "Seven Deadly". Result becomes a decent offering of their recent repetiore, at the same time the new staples are sitting quite comfortably among the old chestnuts.

Overall feeling about the set construction is more than positive. Mother Mary is turning fourty this year and still sounds almost electrocuttingly exciting, great opener. Venus taken off the '95 reunion period is great, convincing rocker with hints of accoustic passages. There were no unnecessary ballad / accoustic / solo show-offs slopes during the set, with the exception of the wonderful contemplative Burn Your House Down, being a real showstopper for both Moore (who played spine electrifying solo in the middle) and Mogg leading tandem. And a true cherry on the top of it all was the inclusion of the Paul Chapman era rocker We Belong To The Night near the end of the main set, which went down very well despite band's hesitations (Phil was warning the audience that they haven't been playing it for a long time) and was rapturously received by the audience. Now this is how one should undust the old broom! All the rest was classic after classic, done with conviction and still sending the fatithful European fans into bliss of frenzy.

And now on the star of the show. The hero. And the stealer of glory, a real black horse of the race. Vinnie Moore. WHAT A PERFORMANCE from the Man. I was immensely impressed by him the first time I saw UFO 6 years ago, of which I duly spoke and exclaimed then. Still, by all accounts, Friday evening proved to show that this 2009 gig still was a restrained sort of performance from Moore. He was more in his own zone then, than playing out. Not now, in 2015. He was mesmerizing and TOTALLY ALL-OUT. Smiling, running around the stage, pointing out to the excited people in the audience, looking up to the balconies, giving away picks, singing the lyrics, posing and being all around engaged into boosting up the party atmosphere and looking like he was having time of his life. What a thrill, what I joy to watch this man. Did all that undermine his playing? Not for a microne it did. His playing was MONSTEROUS. Nothing has changed in his main department - he did all one could expect from a flawless guitar performance. Dexterity, speed, feeling, excitement, mindblowing runs and phrases - as usual all with loads of conviction and illimitable taste every note, lick and bend. It's beyond me how can one get so close to perfect in combining show-off with musical taste and excitement - because there was a lot of rock and roll excitement in the way he played. Rock Bottom might have run for 15 minutes or so, but if it went for half an hour, you wouldn't have noticed. He could play on and on and your jaw-drop wouldn't pick up anyway. Astounding, mesmerising. Vinnie is invincible, he still has it all perfectly balanced between the boom of shred and glory of virtuosity. He WAS the leader and the main attraction on stage all night and I think many would agree he totally stole and owned the show WITHOUT blowing the bandmates off the stage. That's the effort of the perfect musicianship fit, I guess. An absolute hero, hints of worship in what I say are totally justified. When a total package guitarist is on your project want list, he should be at the top of it to do it, period.

Of note is also how effective his guitar logistics on stage was: he had handily near the stall with accoustic guitar to play passages in Venus and a stool with slide and e-bow which he used for effects in the new track The Killing Kind. Otherwise, there were no tech fireworks - one, rather minimalistic, pedalboard with basic effects and two guitars used (the red one and graphite one). The result: glorious. All in the hands, mind and the mood of a wizard. Wonderful.

Get all above mixed and meshed with classic rock hungry crowd of 800+, ranging in age from 17 to 67, constantly going apeshit during classics and chanting "U-F-O!!!" every now and again, and you can imagine that it was a hell of an exciting evening. They still rock out and they are still able to excite and satisfy the crowd when experienced live. If they tour near you in promotion of "A Conspiracy Of Stars" - don't miss them out, you will enjoy it.

TRANSLATED FROM POLISH

starring: UFO; Crowd
place, date: Cracow, Square, 03/06/2015

UFO grywa?o in recent years in Poland several times. Only somehow I could not choose. I do not remember if I was not at hand, or maybe I did not want to move beyond the radius ass a hundred kilometers from the place of residence. No, but this time as a UFO landed in Krakow, is such an occasion not to be missed. I love these old gingerbread. Why, it is one of the most important bands in hard rock. Their style is called the missing link between the classic hard rock and New Wave Of British Heavy Metal. On the other species exerted a great influence and a lot of mainstream NWOBHM bands confessed to the inspiration older colleagues. Including Iron Maiden.

Initially, the work of a UFO was largely spacerockowa. Later, however, said that they want to put on a more compact hard rock hit. The group soon joined youthful genius of the guitar, which Michael Schenker from the Scorpions (brother Rudolf). Started out great success, and the rest - as they say - is history. Of course, each team has its "ups and downs". UFO also had its "downs". Especially in the 80s, when they sought their identity in the new times (as did even with Uriah Heep), and went to them several weaker discs. But there is nothing to fear, because of that, of course, the material does not perform at concerts.

Two days earlier, the team played in Warsaw "Barn". The capital club was also the organizer of the two Polish gigs. Organized a competition for the support acts. As a result, before the star played: Warsaw Thermit in the "Barn" and Cracow Crowd in Quadrant.

Concerts took off after 20, with a few minutes late. At the beginning of local support, and thus Crowd. They play metal widely understood, but distinguished by the fact (at least in Poland) that combine with the male female vocal. This is one of those bands where the game six people, even as everyone looks only at the singer. Well, I do not know if everyone, I'm back. Sound selectivity typically have our support, but maybe it's just my impression, because I was close to the stage, on the right, near the columns. It is known that the concert is often a dilemma - either transparent sound, or a good view. I chose the latter. UFO was obviously better sound system. Music Crowd gathered generally liked, though not fit the style of the British (and two Americans) with UFOs. Young performers were delighted that may occur before such a large audience. It should be mentioned that the "Square" was bursting at the seams. So transient fashion, and awesome classic rock will always have loyal customers. In the audience age disputes to be shot, but of course there were many people in middle age and older. Yet the Crowd - I think they should have more songs sung in Polish (played only one one). In general, I am pleased that Polish group pos?ugiwa?y native language.

UFO started strong entry in the form of the energy of the song "Mother Mary" of re-in-la-cyano-ne-go album "Let It Roll" (the second album recorded with Schenker). Improved the mighty "Lights Out", the chorus sung by the audience also willingly ("lights out, lights out in London!"). The team currently consists of: Phil Mogg, Paul Raymond, Vinnie Moore, Rob De Luca and Andy Parker. Always microphone wielding Mogg, drummer Parker and rhythm guitarist and keyboardist Raymond, of course, old hands. The first two are co-founders of the band (Mogg is the only UFO never went away), and Paul Raymond also played and plays in UFOs for many years. Vinnie is known to be the successor of Schenker on lead guitar and all it already supports this position the longest in team history. Rob De Luca replaces the bass the other co-founder - Pete Waya. This due to health problems had not been involved for some time or recording discs, and even less in the routes.

The team was very pleased brilliant adoption fans. Only Paul Raymond - when I glanced at his face - seemed at first a little bored. Anyway, what's surprising is by far the oldest on the team. But he got under way.

Then they played "Fight Night". It's probably on this issue, Phil Mogg amused audience, gracefully presenting that lacks one of the teeth. Maybe it some reference to the fact that in his youth he was junior champion in boxing North London. Certainly small minusik should team for the setlist is probably almost identical for the whole journey. As if she was OK, because I included all the greatest hits (only title missing Kiler of "Let It Roll"), but will be happy to have heard some rarities. If not for those with a little-known albums, although these are the best ones. Such as my beloved songs "Space Child" and "Queen Of The Deep" groundbreaking "Phenomenon" (the first album with Schenker and probably my favorite when it comes to the team). But there is nothing to complain about. Especially since we heard "Wonderland", "Run Boy Run" and "Venus". This second composition is a good number of the new album "Conspiracy Of Stars", which was supposed to be promoted by this route. Apparently, as in the repertoire of the concert included only two songs from it coming. Anyway, apparently people are playing on the best of what they already know.

Contact Phil with fans at a concert to be regarded as standard. So starts talking a little, but not much. Frequently smart or funny. Well, fortunately, does not try to speak Polish, as some foreign artists (unless you count the traditional two phrases "thank you" and "health"). Also praised mineral water, claiming that it is much better than alcohol. Perhaps it is some allusion to the infamous concert in Warsaw a few years ago, which I read a little bit. Then rather not drink mineral. Well, let's get back to Krakow. Group decided to pay accumulated hit back to the past in the form of a piece of "Only You Can Rock Me" from the album "Obsession". A second later presented a new song - "The Killing Kind". Then we heard the "Burn Your House Down". Phil Mogg was in good shape vocal. Besides physically too well presented. In a few years will probably few people of his age, in such good shape. Especially since today most kids will boggle at internetach, than to move to some activity. Vinnie Moore sometimes sympathetic odwala? guitar licksy such that the head low. It's a different type of guitar than Schenker. The more the contemporary wirtuozo - sweeper.

The basic repertoire of the concert was finished songs "Cherry", "We Belong To The Night" and "Rock Bottom". During the latter a hit, Vinnie put his long impressive solo. During her lifetime Mogg disappeared behind the scenes to regenerate. When he came back, finished the song. Of course it was not the end of the show. In a moment, the musicians came to play and program expected encore, with equally expected and software pieces. Rang two biggest hits of the band - "Doctor Doctor" and "Shoot Shoot". The enthusiasm of the audience reached its zenith and the whole room Moggowi echoed in the chorus of those legendary songs. The concert was so intense that it seemed longer than it was in reality. Lasted about eighty-five minutes. Nevertheless, it is fair to say that hard rock grandfather still can rock.

UFO @Kwadrat Klub, Cracovia, 6.03.2015

TRANSLATED FROM ITALIAN

Arrival at Kwadrat drunk as a pumpkin after I fired six pints in a couple of hours even a festival of craft beer. The evening already promising. My sobriety will be 'sacrificed to the gods of rock today. The opening act (not even remember the name) has just finished and when I arrive the staff is already preparing the stage for the legends. I go to the bar to get another beer and silence falls pre-concert. And here come Marco Travaglio (try googling Phil Mogg and see if nowadays it is unlike Marco "throttle"). Or at least from the distance at which I see looks like him enough. To make it even more 'not to be missed is the fact that education is the historical one to three-fifths. Phil Mogg, Paul Raymond and Andy Parker have supported these days by Rob De Luke on bass and Vinnie Moore monstrous.

After the first piece, Mother Mary, by stratospheric Force It, elbowed to get almost under the stage between the insults of the unfortunates who are in my way. Lights Out it is a bomb also in almost 38 years away. The singing loudly (and in fact my throat ripped open the next day will be beautiful, the fault of hymns performed by our legendary).
I have almost no familiarity with the work more 'recent, but Fright Night Wonderland and still pass almost unnoticed. Belline but not comparable to the classics.
Run Boy Run is the first piece that runs from the just released A Conspiracy of Stars, I overheard the other day just to get to the event not totally ignorant. It's not bad, I have to say, and live also makes enough. The next Venus is a nice piece from the album of the return of Michael Schenker in 2000, but nothing more. There 's still room for excerpts from the new album with The Killing Kind, confirming a product enjoyable and that lends itself well to a live performance.

Roar for later Only You Can Rock Me. Vinnie Moore full well the line-up, not twisting the pieces of Schenker and without overdoing it in the new ones. Phil Mogg does not look much older than the late seventies, vocally speaking. The performance is ultra-professional and the public, of all ages, is literally in delirium when the London band performs the wonderful Cherry. They are hugging complete strangers like me to sing as if there were no tomorrow. Same thing for Rock Bottom: the original contained one of the best solos ever performed by Michael Schenker and Vinnie Moore, who look for the pass, does not disappoint in his personal interpretation. There 's a great atmosphere of brotherhood.
Now all that remains is the encore, which I can only imagine the scope.
Doctor Doctor and Shoot Shoot (acclaimed loudly) closed a night anthology of hard rock.
Exit still a girl and ask her a cigarette. He hands me one and winks at me, saying that her boyfriend is coming to take them to 'little, pointing out that the character in question is a jerk. What you will ever want from me? A quickie around the corner or perhaps an oral performance in a secluded place. Decline the invitation of troione and I approach the stop.
I come home upset as never having spent the return trip by bus with another stranger to discuss NWOBHM, Budgie and Thin Lizzy and when I get home I'll jump on the bed and fell asleep almost immediately with a smile.

And let me see you, with this lineup:

Mother Mary
Lights Out
Fight Night
Wonderland
Run Boy Run
Venus
Only You Can Rock Me
The Killing Kind
Burn Your House Down
Cherry
We Belong to the Night
Rock Bottom

Encore:
Doctor Doctor
Shoot Shoot

Lithuania Concert Report

Many influential rock veterans have not visited again after Lithuania, while in London the group "UFO" in our country still elude. But in the end of March 2015, the 5th of their spaceship, and more precisely, the bus stopped at the Vilnius Forum Palace House. British quintet (although bassist Rob De Luca is often presented as a supporting musician in concerts, but he is not one of "UFO" song co-author) came for a reason, and the present one and a half weeks ago, published 21 th album, "A Conspiracy of Stars."
A time is not the best - in the first half of March events lawn one another, so economising the viewer is really no choice. It seemed that the darkest predictions will come true - left before the start of the concert hall for several minutes was such a picture: a majority of seats filled, all the edges of the hall, which can lean on, as well as take, but the very middle of the room žioj?jo emptiness. However, after a little empty space is decreased, and when it came time for heating, has stood in no small detachment of spectators.

Heat honor guests from London went to its people Polarized glasses "who exactly 20 hours. began his performance. Group leader Sarunas Ma?iulis, before the play Reze long congratulations and full of nostalgic memories of the language, followed by a good old song "Living Horse. After a couple of time-tested hits sounds fresher creative - ilgame?iam former AC / DC guitarist Malcolm Young is dedicated to "Red Apples", and then they immediately slowed down the pace of playing "As well, it does not need to get up early tomorrow."

Before almost every song is representing the charismatic frontman long ongoing works, which are not spare the audience applauded. While most viewers simply part of the concert is closely monitoring the spectacle, but halfway through the show, after a little rouse - here and there already rise to the top, or at least shaken hands to stroke.
Warm-up intended for half an hour goes by swamp thoughts or group will get the chance to play their biggest hits - "Trees without leaves and Polarized glasses. Unfortunately, the last chord is selected only the latter work. The fact that the song was not played in the trees a little upset, but for such a bold step - respect for musicians, because that does not bind to the popular schlagers. Assuming the final word on "polarized glasses - the half hour was very different from what we saw later, but the time passed very quickly.

Based on the premises hung evening program, now - 30-minute break for guests to prepare a scene from the British. However, the service staff very quickly picks up with the tasks entrusted to them and introductory tune starts playing in the event for a few minutes before the scheduled start of the show. Closer to the scene gather more audience - Forum Palace is a capacitance and a much larger crowd of lovers rock, but this time the guests were to meet in good faith. Finally, one after another came on the scene this evening's heroes, each of which is found a hearty applause.
Although perhaps only with the consent of the street guitarist Vinnie Moore and bassist Rob De Luca might think you just overlooked the rock star and the rest of "UFO" prašalie?iais musicians keep in simple, but still no one-note nesugrojus seemed that all of the musicians playing over energy spread, which for many years delighting audiences and inspire other artists.
The show starts with a classical piece "Mother Mary". Great sound, fun performance and attentive, but negailinti applause of the audience. This brief greeting - another cult song "Lights Out." Concerts often the chorus line "lights out in London" is replaced by the city where concerts, titled. Very well sound Vilnius? I can bet that the "UFO frontman Phil Mogg has earned tremendous respect would, if the song is mentioned the name of the capital of our country. But, unfortunately, this did not happen. Perhaps due to the fact that the band did not play for Latvia and Estonia ("UFO" came from Poland, and after the concert in Vilnius returned to her), at the same time that impression that the country singer hesitated he currently performs Lithuanian accent and it was possible to hear just a little bit later.

But let us return to the musical part. As rockers brought new songs and baggage from the last two albums were "pulled" three songs and the listener. Quiet audience, nowhere near neprimenanti thrash metal concerts stormy crowd, relax a little when playing the song "Venus", decorated with an impressive guitarist Vinnie Moore solo number.
After another classic hit "Only You Can Rock Me," and one of the new songs to the audience presented penultimate album, "Seven Deadly" ballad "Burn Your House Down". Well done and a stunning blue background composition aired yet left a better impression than studijiniame record.

After each song wires British jokes, Phil Mogg Lithuanian learn to say the word "thank you", "advertise" easy drinking water and a couple of songs rejoices audience. Left at the end of "Rock Bottom", which, as has become customary at concerts, "stretched" by at least 10 minutes, but it certainly was not boring - Vinnie Moore, virtuoso technique could nežav?ti and even a little funny was some solo time went on behind the scenes rested P.Mogg towards the stage and he paused for a few seconds, as if allowing the guitarist to enjoy at least a little attention.

After saying goodbye to all the musicians and the audience leaves the stage. Abundant ovation and chanted throughout the group name encourage Brits to return soon. "Doctor Doctor" - this song (like "Lights Out" or "Rock Bottom") have already drebinusi Forum Palace walls ago, when almost three years here have been performed in "UFO guitarist Michael Schenker. This, now the original group performed the song, and "Shoot Shoot" finally ends tonight. Very quickly and divided again goodbye to the audience and disappeared behind the scenes musicians left the hope that we will hear another song, but turned the background music has meant that today than "Love To Love" nor "Belladonna" stops.

Despite a couple of minor flaws, "UFO" with a vengeance justified expectations. Quite surprising that the group has so far been performed in Lithuania, this performance really Timely - although some "UFO" elderly members, but full of ideas, enthusiasm and energy. It was a great evening of the old hard rock. I have no doubt that among the congregation that viewers were those who waited for several decades.

Roko veteranai UFO Vilniuje grojo 46 metus brandint? muzik?

Translated to English

Thursday evening Vilnius Forum Palace "concert held the British rock band UFO. Lithuania it is open to the public for the first time - although banded together in 1969's.

"Lithuania?
It had not yet, or not? Even strange to hear "- before traveling to Vilnius lrytas.lt told a group of 66-year-old vocalist Phil Mogg.

"Strange" - the right word. From "Uriah Heep" to "Nazareth", from the strange composition of Thin Lizzy "to" Sweet "- the seventies many popular rock bands in Lithuania has already visited, and not once.

Pepper-and-salt old rock fans can feel satisfied - within 25 years after the fall of the Soviet Union, they had the opportunity to hear live for many groups whose music once could only enjoy the sinfully expensive smuggled plates.

Many of these groups, it is true, come to Lithuania already changed beyond recognition - sometimes with only one member of the old composition, which sits at the drums or playing the bass guitar.

UFO case - a little different. These groups have played in the ranks of over 40 musicians. Among them - known groups "Mr.Big", "Europe", Deep Purple, Whitesnake members.

However, today the UFO performing some of her biggest career highs seen musicians.

This is - since 1969 there singing 66-year-old vocalist Ph.Moggas, the same year the group made its debut drummer Andy Parker, 1976's logged keyboardist Paul Raymond.

UFO situation in the world of rock - ambiguous. All older rock fans know the songs "Rock Bottom", "I'm A Loser" or "Belladonna", but the UFO is not so popular and recognized as Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple or the same Lithuania Germans have been many times " Scorpions.

The latter always performs in larger arenas, and the UFO after banging smaller halls. Why? There are many reasons - and that conflicts temdyta group history, for which she was repeatedly interrupted career.

Now that the group is interested in only the most loyal fans, and Ph.Moggas admitted: "Very few radio stations now broadcast the music."

However, a week ago, UFO released a new album, "A Conspiracy Of Stars" - as they say Ph.Moggas, not the desire to earn, but just because it makes you want to own. By presenting this work, the group went on tour through Europe, during which went to Vilnius.

Fans gathered to hear the group filled about two-thirds of the room. Obviously, the largest UFO fame hours long gone and Lithuania.

The first stage was a group of like-minded - Lithuanian rock veterans' Polarized glasses.

Even before the concert UFO concert organizers warned that bad luck for autographs after the show. Vocalist Ph.Moggas feel tired.

True, he has left the scene, it did not feel. Age makes your - scurry around the stage Ph.Moggas longer and longer trying, but voice - almost as powerful as four decades ago.

In addition, a new group of songs are not similar to the ancestors test something sad surprise. Already at the beginning of the concert resounding in the song "Run Boy Run" - a vibrant and strong as the best times of the UFO.

Lithuanian has not learned much - only "thank you." Even the "cheers" to you sounds confusing and long. But it does not matter.

Today we play on stage, which is between the two bars. And I can only drink water. But there are worse. Water is a good thing. When you drink water, not to get involved fights, retains more of marriage "- laughed Ph.Moggas in the past have had problems with alcohol and drugs.

In ancient UFO hits it Lithuanians "entertain" started already during the first minutes of the concert - the songs "Mother Mary" and "Lights Out" išvydusiomis the light of day in 1975 and 1977.

Concert later turned towards the newer pieces of UFO, and then threw the memories - with a song like crazy fun 1978's "Only You Can Rock Me." In those days, when all the UFO songs were mainly about sex, and on album covers had to stick badges "N-16".

Interestingly enough, the focus is not Ph.Moggas and Vinnie Moore - with Alice Cooper and other rock superstars played guitar virtuoso, fantastic soluot?mis enriched both new and old songs UFO.

Who today is a UFO? Fun nostalgia theater, allowing the fiftieth šešiasdešimtme?iams and thoughts go to youth. Already without any ambition to change the face of the current music, but none of these musicians and expect.

Their main task - to amuse themselves on stage and remind you that simple, solid rock can still provide very good fun.

This UFO is still able to do so - after the first half-hour concert to convince viewers have applauded the rhythm of each song. And the 46-year's career can boast far from the group.

UFO land in the Zeche Bochum

Good mood and confidence, saying UFO. Photos: Niels Holger Schmidt

The British rock veterans UFO have gathered up again and make us their latest work "A Conspiracy of Stars" on a tour before. In our latitudes they made on 26 February at the Zeche Bochum station - and delivered quite well off. In addition to some new material, there were mainly classic, classic, classic.

And sent the crew of the Flying Saucer Rock already beginning to race. With "Mother Mary" and "Lights Out" opened singer Phil Mogg, guitarist Vinnie Moore, drummer Andy Parker, Paul Raymond on keyboards and rhythm guitar and bass player Rob de Luca evening.

In contrast, the current disc came with the two numbers "Run Boy Run" and "The Killing Kind" somewhat short. This is even more than the previous album, "Seven Deadly" - by no means a classic - was considered equal to three numbers. Otherwise filled Gassenhauer About the albums "Force It", "Obsession" or "Phenomenon" the setlist. In contrast, little can be known object.

A few surprises, there were also. Such was with "Makin 'Moves" from the era with Paul Chapman can not be expected, with the Schenker late work "Venus" is also not.

Otherwise, however, there is little to grumble. The band plays stable and tight like clockwork. Master Mogg is a mid-sixties still surprisingly good voice. However, it already lacks a bit of charisma. Vinnie Moore and Rob de Luca represented Schenker and craftsmanship Way absolutely first class - but only technically. Nevertheless, very entertaining evening, the additions "Doctor Doctor" and "Shoot Shoot" went with a orgiastic 15-minute version of "Rock Bottom" and ended NHS.

NEW TOUR NEWS

UFO set to Headline the STEELHOUSE FESTIVAL this upcoming JULY

Announced Yesterday

As reported by a reliable source, PLANET ROCK:

Welsh international Classic Rock festival Steelhouse will return this year.

The event will celebrate its fifth anniversary, returning to its spectacular mountain-top location at Hafod-y-Dafal Farm, near Ebbw Vale in South Wales.

UFO will headline on Saturday 25 July, playing classics from their forty-six year career, as well as material from their new album 'A Conspiracy Of Stars'.

The Sunday night will be brought to a close by Dee Snider, who will perform hits from his time in Twisted Sister, as well as songs from his extensive solo catalogue.

Steelhouse 2015 will also see performances from Y&T, Tyketto and Doro. "Y&T are looking forward to playing the Steelhouse Festival, and we’ll be making it an extra special show by performing the entire Black Tiger album along with other favourites." enthused Dave Meneketti.

"It’s incredible to think that British rock royalty UFO along with TWISTED SITER’s main man DEE SNIDER - and one of my personal favourites Y&T - will be performing at the Steelhouse this year," says Festival co-founder, Matt Rhead. "We were concerned that it would be a mammoth task to compete with the enormous success of last year’s festival, but once again we’ve been able to attract the very best Classic Rock bands to this region, which has always been hotbed of rock music fans."

Rounding off the initial announcement are Trucker Diablo, No Hot Ashes, Massive Wagons, Skam and Florence Black.

Steelhouse Festival takes place 25 - 26 July 2015. Early bird weekend tickets are on-sale now via steelhousefestival.com!
